GCSE maths can feel hard to manage without a clear routine
Many students are capable of more, but they do not always know what to revise, how to improve or what to do when a topic suddenly feels difficult. That can leave parents feeling unsure how to help.
Revision feels random
Your child may spend time on maths, but without a clear structure it can be difficult to know whether they are focusing on the right topics.
Confidence changes quickly
A poor test, a difficult topic or a lesson that did not make sense can quickly knock a student’s confidence.
You want to help
Many parents want to support their child, but GCSE methods, exam questions and grade expectations can feel difficult to keep up with.
A weekly GCSE maths support system students can follow
Full PMT Membership is designed to give students structure, clear teaching and regular support throughout the GCSE year.
Instead of trying to work everything out alone, students follow a weekly routine and have somewhere to turn when they get stuck.
The aim is not to overwhelm students with more work. It is to help them feel clearer, more confident and better supported.
See how Membership worksThree clear pathways for different confidence levels and goals
Students do not all need the same support. Each weekly pathway has a different focus, so students can strengthen foundations, build confidence and work towards the grade they need.

Support that continues beyond one lesson
PMT combines live teaching, independent review and support between sessions so students have a clearer weekly routine.

Join the most suitable pathway lesson and work through the week’s GCSE maths topic.
Revisit learning
Use the recording or Pocket Lessons library to review methods and strengthen understanding.
Ask for support
Use Pocket Support during term time when a question or method is causing difficulty.
Build consistency
Follow the routine each week so GCSE maths feels more manageable and less dependent on last-minute revision.
For families who want structure, not guesswork
PMT Membership is for students who would benefit from clear teaching, a regular routine and support that helps them keep moving.
It may be right for your child if:
- they are moving into Year 10 or Year 11
- they lack confidence in GCSE maths
- they need a clearer revision routine
- they are aiming for Grade 4, 5, 6 or higher
- they would benefit from help between lessons
It may help you as a parent if:
- you want your child to have structured support
- you are not sure how to help with GCSE maths
- you want an alternative to weekly one-to-one tuition
- you value calm and professional communication
- you want support from a qualified maths teacher
Support that helps students feel more confident
Families often come to PMT because their child needs clearer explanations, more confidence and a structure they can follow.
Since the moment I contacted Michael about tutoring my 14-year-old twins, I have been very impressed. He adapts lessons around the areas they need and communicates with them really effectively. I have noticed a real difference in their approach towards maths and their confidence in exams.
Michael tutored our daughter in the run-up to her GCSEs. He brought her up from a Grade 2 to a Grade 5 and explained methods in a way she could understand. Without him, she would not have succeeded. Thank you so much for all your help and support.
You have empowered them and made maths fun and enjoyable. My daughter has gone from not enjoying maths to now enjoying it and wanting to study A level, which I honestly wasn’t sure we would see.
